I need to get another one of these lenses, used to have one on Nikon mount. These look good.

It's an excellent value lens, fast, sharp and I find it's just the right focal length for me.

That it is. Where did you get yours? I got mine from Kiev camera what must have been 5 years ago or so. Mine was a really good copy but if you want to talk about QC controls or product variability, these Zenitars have it in spades it seems.

I bought mine on ebay two years ago, I don't know whether my example is as good as they get, but it persuaded me to sell my Sigma 10-20mm, which I rated highly.
