I couldn't find a list on the forum for all the monolights or pack systems that have built in Pocket Wizard receivers. I want to do some research into upgrading my equipment and I thought it would be a good feature to have.

I know that the Skyports work with the Elinchrom series but do they work with anything else and are the Elinchrom lights $ for $ as good or better than lights with built in PW receivers?

I think I can answer the skyport question...it really depends on the skyports you have? right? they offer a universal series of the skyports so that one you can use with any flash with a sync attachment i believe. not 100% but I believe that's how it is. the RX series has a certain plug for the skyports where you can also adjust the lighting ratio from the skyport. a nice little feature.good luck with the rest of the questions!

The Skyports are made my Elinchrom and the RX's work with there RX lights/Packs. I bought the Style RX mono's and the RX Skyports which allow you to adj flash output and modeling lights from the TX. Thats there main advantage. The universal Skyports will not do this but will work with most any flash as they have a sync cord output. I thikn the voltage(sync) may be limited though?? The Skyports are four chanel. I think? you can use more lights but can only adj 4 channels. So I think you can have more than one light per channel(not sure)??

I also looking into the Profoto mono's as they come with(optional) PW built-in. You can not adjust the flash or modeling lights with the PW TX though.

Profoto packs are very nice. I've used the packs with built in wizards and they are certainly convenient. Not sure about their monolights though.
