I was laughing at myself/still in shock that I swatted the ball away from myself using the lens hood. The camera is not a ball swatter

Thanks for the support. Currently I am not to worried about the strobes because the gym is pretty bright with out them. I am more worried about getting my school work done to graduate ect. New camera stuff sure would be nice though.

In my opinion it defeats the purpose of the strobes. Also another reason I don't plan on getting a set of strobes is because the gym is easily ISO 1600, f2.8, 1/320-400 with out any additional lighting.
