Yeah, because that would be a lot of photos to convert to links and funny how it's neer been done before.

Not to mention, I'd probably just stop posting.

And I'll refer you to the part you quoted where it says "only if discussion requires it". A string of 10 photos in a row, that avoided the automatic cutoff at 8 posts only because posts were made 1 photo at a time and 2 other people posted during the time they were being submitted individually, is excessive.

sorry I just had to step out in the middle of writing this response(started 45 mins ago)
... Jon... I have to go with Swamp on this one. I think it would be curtious for someone to only post say 8 at a time/in a row, thus giving others a chance to throw in their pics. but this whole thread is about sharing

that's my thoughts on it.

Crap! Thanks for the refresher. I realize, now, that I inadvertently violated this rule a couple of weeks ago .

Could you give us an idea or guideline as to what kind of "time limit" there might be in the 8 photo per thread rule?

For example, in this thread, would more than 8 per week be a violation?
