That cat is the best one yet for sure.

Here is my daughter again. She's shooting her mom playing 3rd base. In this shot you see the RC fielder and 2nd base chasing a ball. My daughter is anticipating a play might develop at 3rd if the runner keeps going.

Totally off topic, but does anyone know where to get a pair of pants with the pocket on the thigh like the one dude has in the blue slacks?

That would help emmencely for shooting events that have a big lineup and you need to constantly be looking at the schedule to see where you need to be.

Never seen anything like that before, but me likey!

Here's something that might interest you. (external link) It's a pilot's knee board. I used to have one (small, hard plastic), but cannot find it anywhere. I might pick up a Zuluboard.

Great shot, but you need to teach her to use a neck strap.

I regularly let my kids (5, 5 and 9) take shots with the 1D3, but the #1 rule is they have to wear the neck strap.

And in typical parent fashion its do as I say, not as I do... I hate neck straps. ;)

^Hey I was at that event shooting from the far right corner.

QUOTED IMAGE

This cat is up to no good. Look at the ears!

EDIT: magnificent, sleek fur, though. But still up to no good.

I know and MISS that Zoo! I kept getting the emails about "photographers day" and just wanted buy a ticket and go. Some of my all time favorite photos are there. Also with a lot of less other photographers, every first Saturday of the month they open an hour early for members, just a little suggestion if you don't know.

hey, thx for the info. didn't know that. I was amazed at how many photographers were there. It was my first time going (it cost 2x the normal price). Our Zoo here kinda sucks and is small. I was reminded of why I don't frequent the zoo often, lol. The damn tigers/panthers/cougars weren't even out and that's what i wanted the most. Least I got the Lion/Lioness. I posted my shots in the Wildlife section.

It was a unique and interesting day. I wish all days were like that one.

Then they wouldn't be unique would they? :D

Yes, they would. Think about it for a second. That day was unique. I wish all days were like that one, therefore I wish all days were unique. If they were all unique, then they'd all be unique, wouldn't they? :)
