A prior friend of mine did that and I have NO idea why she did that. It always ended up at some awkward 60-80 degree angle instead of straight up. No need to go into details about why she's a prior friend, but it has nothing to do with photography.

I thought that a surprising number said they shot clockwise like in this pic. Tony
