That lady was shooting 5 bracketed exposures. Also, check out that tripod head!

That's the Manfrotto "Joystick Head"; essentially a ball head with a grip release. Very quick and easy to use.

I had one, it's good for lighter/smaller camera/short lens. I sold mine a year ago.

Maybe that's a new version of E-TTL called "Evaluative Through the Flash".

Yeah, the primeminister should know better than to use a plastic diffuser on a flash.

How many more threads will this photo be posted in? Didn't stop him from an election victory and new majority government, though.

I hadn't seen this photo. I think it's rather humorous. It's better than all the ones with Bush, Obama, etc.. looking through binoculars with the lens caps on, or using the phone, which is upside down... all obvious photoshop jobs. At least this one, looks legit... as he seems to be a true camera-idiot. 8-)

And the guy behind him, looks a ton like the guy from that Sylvester Stallone/Sandra Bullock movie.. the guy that was the right hand man of the president or supreme chancellor, or whatever...

Not to defend the Canadian PM (I barely know his name, let alone his politics, etc.), but from the story with this photo, he was mocking the media, not taking a picture. And, without seeing the 200 frames before and after this photo, assuming he is looking through the flash trying to take a picture means you actually think he is a blithering idiot. I don't buy the premise whether or not you disagree with his politics.

QUOTED IMAGE

You're thinking of Demolition Man, and he was Associate Bob, assistant to Doctor Raymond Cocteau.
