That's her own gear, though...I gave her the 400d for christmas, and the Lowepro bag just the other day. She's getting quite good...she's entered the camera club competition which is tonight...see how she does...she came 8th from 34 images last month! :)

None of my grandkids do more than dabble at this time. My grown ones get my older stuff when they've been replaced by new and they all have access, but none have shown any inclination to work in the field.

Yours seems so serious that you could get a small Domke vest and a white 70-200 L and she could wave that camera and lens and walk past most checkpoints--oh, and a little card that says "Sesame Street Journal" (or the Brit equivalent) to hang off the vest.
