My question is, what is that guy with the white lens doing? I think it's too close a subject to photograph with a 70-200 , but I may be wrong. 28-300? Emergency Exit Pictures

Even at 70mm on a full frame, he's probably a bit close. From the angle of the lens it appears he is taking a headshot of the model. He may have that lens for photographing the details of the car.
