Hello, this is my first time posting my pictures on here... I am still new to photography. I'd love to hear some of your opinions to improve my skills, I do this for fun and I enjoy doing it.

Here are my pics that were taken last week at the Pier, please let me know what should I look for or work for next time? Thanks!

I shot them with my XTi, I have the 28-135mm IS (40d kit lens).

DUCKS!

Looks like you were shooting into the sun on a few of these. Lots of dark shadows on the sea lions.

Nice to see the clock tower, I was there 18 May 2008 for the Bay to Breakers.

Keep shooting.

PS welcome to POTN also.

Nice series. I have that camera and it does tend to under expose in some situations. Just check your histogram after each shot - if it's too far to the left up the exposure compensation a little and shoot again. Good luck :D
