Great light in #1. On #2, found myself wanting to see the whole bird. Good captures.

Awesome colors and detail on these two. The warm light on the Owl is superb.

Are the Burrowing Owls fairly abundant there?

Great shots. The light is great. Looks like the Owl has coughed up a couple of pellets. :)

Yes, I just found the place where there are nearly 5 pairs but unforunately the area is a priate one.
