Lately when I use my flash it will work for about 5 flashes and then stop working and make that charging sound for about 30-60sec before I can use it again.
Could anyone help me?

Try using some rechargeable AA's - like 2500 mAh. Canon 400D (XTi), Sigma 24-70 2.8 (LOVE IT!), 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 kit lens, 50mm f/1.8 Nifty 50, 90-300 mm cheapo! And a new Metz AF-4C Flashgun Woooo.

A couple sets of Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) rechargeables and a charger will outperform alkalines and cost you less in the long run.
