I have been looking a lot at getting another set of mid grade lights. Reading everything i can find, surfing the web, reading light posts here at PTON, just being thuro with my homework.

Well Im eating dinner at Taco Bell tonight, They have a poster of tomatoes, Big deal you say. Well I catch myself reverse engineering the shot while I'm eating. Looking at the catch lights on the tomato, estimating the size to what size lightbox they were useing. How close the reflector probably is. etc...etc. I catch my self and realize Im just going nuts!

This happen to anybody else?

Shouldn't this be in the "You know your photography crazy when..." thread?
LOL, and I tell my wife the same thing about all my magazines too! She thinks I'm lying but it's true! Angles, lighting....you name it! Never studied pictures at Nacho Momma before though.....

I almost always try to reverse engineer a shot that I think was well done.
Thinking is "good" for you. At least that's what they tell me. Don't ask who "they" are. ;)
