A bit worried.... (way to put gel on flash)

I found this

And made the gels for it, very slick, like the SB800.

But, how much risk is there for me to melt the gel to the strobe?

I don't think it generates enough heat to melt/fuse the gel to the strobe!

As for methods of putting the gel on the flash - I just use an elastic or tape (why bother with so many elaborate techniques?!).

Because it's so slick :D
but yeah, that's what I figured that unless I hook it up to a quantum and fire off like 10 full power shots in 10 seconds I would be fine
