Just got my Siggy back from calibration. First tests shots seem very promising!! Can't wait to use it in real life and post pictures here!

Just bought this lens on the weekend and I found out that I needed to adjust +13 backwards on my 5DMK2....but if I do that it won't focus correctly anything more than 7meters (~25feet) away :( .... going to send it for calibration. Turn around in 2 weeks and hopefully its going to be better when I have it back...

Anyone had the same issue?

maybe set it back to 0 and do some tests (not the chart...just RL shots) and see if it's really the lens? Usually if it's FF and/or BF it's consistent. at least tmk.

Thank you for the suggestion :). Yeah I did that too. When I set it to 0 I could focus at long distances (+25feet) correctly but its front focused for short distance subjects (~5feet.)

at +13 backwards it tries to focus subject at least 50feet away eventho the subject was about 25feet

Yeah, I've heard of this happening (in this thread a few times)...Both mine never exhibited this. Not sure I'd get it calibrated, I'd send it back to the seller. Order a new one that is either perfect or close...Then send it in, if necessary ...Good luck, whatever you decide.
