I got this lens in Shanghai! My first contribution to this thread, shot wide open (of course):

I've later calibrated the lens to +20 with microadjustments on the 5D-II. Still not 100% spot on though :/

Great shot very dreamy....Love Shanghai too.....Take some shots on the Bund and Nanjing Road with this lens? Love to see some....
Let Sigma calibrate it for you, it should come back perfect....I'm at Zero MA and loving it.

BTW, some very nice stuff on your Flickr page

How many of you need to have your 50 micro-adjusted? I just picked one up today and I like it so far. However, mine is very back focused. I need -15 micro adjustment correction. I am going to exchange another one tomorrow. Bought it at Adorama..

Tried MA on mine, but it wouldn't fix it. It back focused some times, front focused others. I thought maybe I could work around it but in the end I missed far far too many shots, so I sent it in for calibration a few weeks ago. Should be coming back any day now, can't wait!

Wide open, manually focused using Live View on the 7D (AF is accurate, but the DOF is so tiny at f/1.4 and a close subject distance that I prefer MF)

Thanks! The seller "forgot" to fill out the warranty card though, so I am not sure if I can get it calibrated under warranty though :/ On the other hand, it was roughly 60% of price to get it in Shanghai than in Norway, so I can't really complain. I didn't use this for shots of the Bund/Nanjing, I used my 135L there. My girlfriend is from Shanghai, so I will go there a lot :) [Second time now]. Will upload more shots later, I have a ton

Thanks :)

She's 2 days old now. Her big brother is nearly 2 years. Both amazing ages. Her brother is so sweet with her, just very curious and affectionate.

The blue-green light behind her is a bilirubin phototherapy blanket -- she's got some jaundice. Makes for a strange effect in the photos.

Wow, I really need to stay out of these lens threads. This will probably be my next purchase, just hope I can get a good copy to start with.
