Hard to believe he's 3 yrs old already....

If anybody is curious about how it performs in low light, reviews on line will be the same as mine. Poor. Its my favorite lens but at weddings in low light I usually throw out about 60% due to off focus. So shoot lots.
Other than that, amazing lens.

The time goes fast. My son was born a couple months after I got my first real camera. It has been fun learning to shoot with him and kids are excellent practice for photography in my experience.

Right, I concur....I bought my first DSLR the night before my 3yr old boy was born. I think I have nearly every day of his life chronicled

yeah I'm going to agree AF sucks indoors for me usually so the extra light doesn't even help. Too bad poor student here can't afford the 50L/35L
But then if you nail the focus the bokeh is dreamy good..
