Very beautiful scene bananaraw, love the tonality in this shot. I have been trying to replicate that type of tonality without any luck= i am a newb. Mondayshift has a similar affect to his photos as well. Love it.

Gear List

-Canon 60D, Sigma 50mm 1.4, Canon 24-105L

I am new to photography and am Eager to learn. So feel free Critique my photos :)

It's all about the curves, man. Do something like this with your blue channel and you're already on your way:

It is in fact all about the curves in this one. I'm learning for my last exam which I have tomorrow. I promise that I will explain it later with a before and after shot :)

Just imagine throwing the Sigma 85/1.4 on there, it WOULD be heavier!

Love my SIGMALUX though!

Yes I love it too :D And yes a 85 would really absorb the T2i. I always thought that the 50 looked big on a 5d but now it just looks normal on it.. :)

^^Just goes to show that even a "cat shot" can be a good image if taken right...

This is a very good pic, love the blue in the eyes.

You'll be late for everything because the light was right and the action was good (magoosmc)
