^^Geez dude nice shots and you were guessing it's ability :) What's its bread and butter aperture...2.0-2.8? My old sigmalux was tack sharp at these ranges and still sharp at 1.4.

Yeah it will be here tomorrow. Wish me sigmaluck :)

I normally shoot @ f2.8 or less for sharpness, esp when shooting people. I find < f2.8 a bit soft when I pixel peep:p

Still fairly sharp at 1.4 - at least I think so. Love this lens - except for the rare mis-focus, just about everything comes out looking how I'd like.

My 5dmk3 turns up in about 10 days and I can't wait to pair it with this lens....

any samples of the combo out there? how are ppl finding the AF?
