More dogs... wide-open
Nice quality to these. I've got my Sigma 50mm on its way. It seems that (optically speaking) it sits between Canon's 1.4 and 1.2 (and perhaps closer to the 1.2). I'll post some when I get it.

Do you guys crop the pics you post here? because the 1.4 dof is very thin if your at 15 ft. but its hard to auto focus on that distance already... Whoops, my bad! The IQ on both of these lenses are so similar that I often get confused.
These are definitely shot /w the 50. EXIF is intact & images are straight from the camera /w default sharpening Nikon D4's x 3, D800E and 15 Nikon lenses

(I can't get this lens to flare for the life of me)

I love the feel of this lens though. I know that doesn't effect the images at all, but this and my 24L feel very similar which makes me happy... I picked it up from adorama and go a free lens cap keep, cleaning kit and UV filter (non of which I'll use, but for free why not?). I did however forget to order a spare canon rear cap for it though (I was too excited I guess)... I just don't like how the siggy cap fits canon lenses when you start swapping gear around. They seem loose.and one shot OF it: My Gear List
