UK Events Calandar?

I have been trying to locate a website i once came across that had a whole load of events (sport, music festivals and others) that would be of interest to amateur photographers.

Does anyone know the site i am remebering? Or was it even a thread on this forum.

the bbc website has a sporting event calendar... covers the sporst that the bbc tends to cover... not quite what you were after i don't think, but it might make do in the mean time.

Canons new web site for pros has an event section with a search facility that allows you to specify type of event,dates and any european country.Although only pros can register, guests are allowed access to most categories its well worth a look.
