New to Photography, first time taking car pictures!

I took a couple of pictures of my brothers 06 black Accord Coupe, New to photography like title says, CC's are welcome and appreciated! Thanks!


P.S. I used my new XTI and the kit lens

I dont know if you used a tripod or not, but they are very very helpful for shooting at night. If you dont have access to one, places like walls and the ground are good for resting your camera on for longer exposures and no movement. One thing you should do when shooting cars, especially at night, is use a higher F stop so you can bring the whole care into focus instead of just a small corner.

By the way, that is a gorgeous NHBP 6 speed, quite a rare car for a Honda, enjoy it!

Thanks for the CC, i am getting a tripod soon, but i tried my best to stay still, but thanks alot!!! any comments of the pictures overall?

I really like the one of the red v6 symbol, you dont see those very often ;)
I think those turned out pretty well for a first shot, but let me warn you, it gets VERY addicting.

Yes it gets VERY addicting to take pictures of cars...haha we might go again tonight and i might beable to borrow my boss's tripod

The car looks like a black hole in that garage? You need some highlights in it to define the body, so try this light next time:
