I ventured out with a friend to the Will Rogers Polo Club in Pacific Pallisades, CA. This is my first time shooting polo and I don't do sports regularly. This was one of the most relaxing events I have ever shot. I didn't realize how much downtime there was in polo. It was a welcome relief though. C/C welcome.

Thanks for looking.

One thing I'd say would be try to shoot lower so that the faces are visible. Nice shots though!

Great shots. Really like that last one with the ball in it and I think the horse with his legs off the ground really adds to it as well. I imagine it would be tough to shoot lower than you were for the second two with polo however. Not like you can run out there and lay down.....

I've actually known some pro photogs to take along an angle finder so they can shoot low and get the faces :)

Thanks. We were stuck on a small hill and could not get any lower without fear of getting trampled by the horses.
