Just a bunch of old guys (my age and older) playing baseball on Sunday. They play at the old Angels baseball facility they had in Arizona.

You need to open up a little more Matt to help with the cap shadow, sacrifice the highlights.

I used AV mode and 0 +-. You think I should say screw you to the whites and use a bump or two up in that mode?

that or lift the shadows slightly in post but that's a real pain to do on a photo by photo basis and if you overdo it, man it can look bad.

Yeah #2 guy had to have been close to 60. He was throwing around 50 mph it seemed. Some of the younger guys on the other team were kinda teeing off on him.

Yep, I've found +1/3 or even +2/3 (in real harsh sun/shadow) will help with face shadows. Dennis W. will likely echo the same as it is he who told me that sometimes you need to go to +2/3.
