I was over at Wilson's Ponds in Nampa, Idaho chasing dragonfly young with the macro lens, when my husband and dog came busting out of the bushes asking me to shoot a bird across the water. Down goes the macro rig, out comes the 100-400mm, got a few shots, but can't nail down what these two are. Is this a Yellow-headed Blackbird female? Please excuse the blur, I didn't have time to put the tripod to use.

First pic - 100-400mm lens @ 400mm, F8, 1/500 sec, 200 ISO. Shot with XTi.

Second pic - 100-400mm lens @ 400mm, F8, 1/180 sec, 200 ISO. Shot with XTi.
