Hey everyone,

I am looking for a lens to primarily shoot headshots of Minor League baseball players. I am not looking for a $200 lens here, I am looking in the range of $75-$125. Nothing really special but something that would be great for taking posed shots of my local team.

If anyone could please post there ideas on what would be essential for my price range and ideas, that would be great.

Thank you very much,
Justin

I am looking for something small. I have a 70-200mm f/4 now and I don't want to have to sit 8 rows back to take a photo of a player who is posing on the rail. If anyone has any suggestions plmk.

Thanks,
Justin

50 1.8 will cost you less than 100. On a rebel series or 20d/30d/40d, it will have a good field of view at 80mm.

50 f/1.8 is your best bet.
Nothing at that price range beats that lens.
