Thanks Mike. That’s what I did and it was wonderful. The only downside was that, I really suck at Landscape photography. The view at the end of the road was simply awesome this time of the year.ߙ

Walking from the fish plant of Dutch Harbor to Unalaska, circa 1972.
I didn't find any thread for distant places of wonder, and since this is a road, I posted it here.
I went to the Elbow Room for a few beers and ordered a hot beef sandwich. It came hot in one end and still partly frozen in the other. For entertainment they had two topless disco dancers. Years later I read that the Playboy magazine rated this as the grungiest bar in the United States.
