Not really a road, but rather a long driveway.

Cygnus I'd meant to include you in the previous comment and say what a great photo.
Interesting landscape, and road.

Got sidetracked

Thank you and yes, you wouldn’t want to leave the road there.... let’s just say you would have plenty of time of time to get yourself presentable for the pearly gates

Nice shot and good angle on the tunnel!

This kinda reminds me of the road from Queenstown NZ to Skippers Canyon except the road in NZ isn’t paved, not as wide, and for the life of me I still can’t believe two vehicles could me and pass each other without one rolling down the hill!!! Thanks for stirring up a memory, even if the places are an ocean apart!!!

Only once though

I do like the photo but for SWMBO it would be a white knuckly ride!

Our first holiday in Corsica we took our own car. It was both easier and cheaper as we were living near Carcassonne.

One of our daze out was along a narrow winding road not much wider than that, but metalled. Left hand drive and a 4 or 500 foot drop on her side and the very good chance of a high speed bus around the next corner.

I was not the favourite person in her book for a couple of daze!-?-?
