That path looks inviting. Nice photo, good design. Something about that tree on the left bothers me, though. Maybe if the trunk was dark all the way down???

Naah, that's normal for filtered sun. The ground is patchy for the same reason. This isn't to say you might not prefer it to be lit differently.

Yes, I would have ruthlessly darkened the base of the trunk. Pretending that it, too, was in the shade. For which some would tell me to go stand in the corner facing the wall and be ashamed. But I hope you'll forgive me. I wasn't put on this earth to make anybody's life easy, including my own.

Great scene and composition but perhaps the worst upload to POTN I've seen!

That pathway isn't very wide and the traffic is not only heavy but not very friendly!

My ambition for a good while is to grow old disgracefully. So far my wife tells me that I am doing really well!

Not so much a road, but an old tow path on the Canal du Midi just west of Carcassonne

I envy you. Here the road would be covered with Litter, Hot Dog Carts, and Food Trucks.

... and people "walking"? Yeah right!

Oh, great image by the way too!

Lovely image.
Reminds me a lot of "Poplar Avenue", it was a watercolor by David Cox.

Interesting photo. Well composed.
I was surprised to see a veterinaire tucked into a small side street.
Realise this isn't urban here and they have to go somewhere.
Probably doesn't treat large animals as in rural Tasmania :-)
