Thanks all. I just moved here a few months ago and am loving discovering all the fantastic vistas around. Went out with some photography friends yesterday and we drove ON a river bed.

It is. But at 880k acres I could only see a very small piece of it. Plus at 105 degrees it was hard to spend to much time there.
