A small selection from the the weekends event .... the weather in Sweet Lamb yesterday was worst than Rally GB back in December. Isnt it supposed to be summer?

Hi Jay,
Your usual eclectic mix.good work.
The weather does look very moody and dark, just as well you were not deep in the dark forest.
The Talbot and Escort are my favourites, very nice.
What lens did you use for the red Escort shot,I like the closeness and width.?
Cheers,
Pons

Spot on shots again Jay, like #2,3 & 4 the best. Looks like you had tough weather conditions

Great to see some different angles Jay - I think that has become a trademark of you posts. I'm liking #1 a lot. The concept of #5 is brilliant, particularly given the conditions you describe. I think I might have tried to place the figure a bit further to the right hand edge of the frame and got in a bit closer to make the rally car a little more prominent. I like the idea a lot though.

Cheers,

Simon.

Nice set Jay. Like the others said the weather looks like it was difficult, but I'd guess that is part of what makes rally fun. I mentioned in another post that I have recently become a fan of wide shots. I really like #2. It tells a great story. #4 is stunning as well.

Thanks Simon. It's nice to hear that some people appreciate the bit of thought that i've put into my angles.

Cheers Nick. Thats what a 16-35mm lens and a bloody steep 'mountain' does for the photo. Least you can just about make out it's an Escort, if I'd used the fisheye you wouldnt have even seen the car ;)

Thanks Jamie. I also feel the wider photos portrait more of a story that the full frame car shots. Each to their own though I guess

Cheers
