Hi
I need some decent memory for my 40D. I am thinking about Sandisk extreme III SD 8GB. Does anyone have experience of this or suggest anything decent.
Thanks

I would second this....only to say also that in my experience the Extreme IV downloads pretty darn fast for me!! I have both and will stay with both! I also stay w/ 4g max. Bill

I have them in both 4 & 8 GB variations, and I have yet to ever have a single problem with the cards. I have used cheapie cards, quote generics, and I have had corruption issues. But never have had a corrupt image from the E3 cards. JamesFacebook Profile

I say this because it is pretty much the minimum size for shooting in RAW (if you aren't already doing so) unless you enjoy changing memory cards a lot. I only buy SanDisks and agree that the Extreme III's are the slowest cards you should use. I know that a lot of people have had good luck with other brands, but I have never regretted buying the best.
