my work has a rental program with seriously premium nikon gear.. this weekend i got a d3, 14-24 and 24-70... shot this on the 14-24 at all 9fps then laced it together in image ready w/ a 0 second delay...

it's a 2.4mb file, so im just gonna give the link on my blog

overall, amazing camera.

anyone who lives in eastern pa and is interested in renting this gear, send me a PM and ill get you my work's contact info... it's a LOT cheaper than you think to rent this stuff.

The sequence looks pretty good but can you post some of the single shots? Want to see how they turned out.

Yeah, so the stills are decent but don't particularly work. Maybe next time try to shoot some stills. My persona opinion is they are more captivating than sequence shots. Good try though.

yea and? this is a photo critique forum isn't it? I've been and continue to be a canon shooter, have been for over a decade now - but when you get the chance to shoot a 9 frame per second camera with a super wide non-fish lens, you'll want to show the pics off to someone... i'm not a camera snob, i'll use whatever to get the job done... and this d3 was rented from the weekend because my 10d doesn't have the fps needed, nor is it full frame or ef-s compliant.
