As has been said by others, the wireless remotes will AF if the shutter button does AF. This, however, is good/bad news....but "fixable".

When I am using a remote shutter release, either for "no touch" or distance relase of the shutter, I want the camera pre-focused....and not to refocus again...particularly if I am taking multiple shoots of the same scene...for example a group picture where you may need to selectively layer to get everyone looking "right".

Since I have my AF set to only the "back button"....not on the shutter button...I AF, then use the wireless trigger to release shutter when and as often as I like.

BTW....I have used numerous ebay triggers, plus a friends PW setup. I find the Phottix Cleon C8 to be the best of the bunch (as long as long distances are not required). The ability to be wired as well as wireless is an added benefit (and comfort to the fear of dead batteries  ).

PM TeamSpeed and see when he will have more. I must have gotten lucky. Mine shipped two days after I ordered. I must have gotten one of the last ones. I pick it up later on today
