Hey guys, I'm going to be picking up a set of Pocket Wizards this weekend and I plan on firing my 580's with them. I have a 580EX II and a 580 EX. Pw's site tells me what I need for the 580EX II but no info for the old 580. I assume I need some type of hot shoe adapter, but I can't find anything on the net. Any info or links would be greatly appreciated.

You're better off getting the cord from FlashZebra. Lon is a member of the forum and he can help you out. The cord from FlashZebra is cheaper too. This is the exact cable you need, I have several and they all work great!! http://flashzebra.com/wizardcables/hotshoe.shtml (external link)

Unfortunately, Lon is out of stock at the moment.
