flash or no flash? shooting FMX tomorrow

heading to go ride and shoot tomorrow, i shot some a few weeks ago, i shot towards light so the my buddies were kinda dark, im going to try to shoot away from the sunlight, but is it better to use the flash or no? i have the 430ex, need to know by tomorrow morning. thanks

Outdoors, bright sun, I generally use a flash.

I have no idea what FMX is.

Just keep in mind that you'll be limited to 1/250 shutter speed, or the very limited distance that comes with using high speed sync in the sun.

Try it both ways. Electrons are cheap.
