2 and 5 are nice. I love the cleanliness and symmetry (even though its not really "symmetrical", thats the only word that comes to mind to describe it) of 2. I personallu would have cropped some of the top off and maybe give the swimmer a little bit more space to swim in the frame but thats me.
#5, how can you not like that haha. Expression is great.

1/3/4 are just nothing new. Theyre not bad captures but just dont do anything for me. Definitely hit the status quo though.

thanks Adam

I agree . Its so hard not to be status quo when you cover 3 lanes and the races are 16-24 seconds back to back to back.

Nicely done.
I know too well about how tough it is to take 'exciting' swim shots. But what you've got here will twist that twenty-dollar bill out of a parents' pocket almost every time.

Cheers.

ps - love the lane ropes.

Ya, the sales go fairly well. Parents dont have access to the deck and even if they did the lighitng isnt great at all. So the fact that its something they basically cant get otherwise helps a lot. I like those types of events :)

Love #5...what a great expression. The lighting looked pretty good, our home pool is basically a cave. Looking exceptional for ISO 1600. Any of these shots would work well in a school's yearbook.

Did you get wet taking pic #2. ???

Canon 40D / 24-70L / 100-400L IS / Sigma 17-35

All constructive C&C appreciated ! :D

Number 5 knocks the ball out of the park as far as a youth shot goes... keep a copy of that one for your sports portfolio. Nicely done.

Really nice work Eigga. I really like 1 and 3. It is very challenging to capture a really clean face shot during freestyle and you did it very well. Great job on white balance and color too. Indoor pools are tough lighting situations.
