Just a quick question. Looking for an answer from someone who knows for sure.

Does a 5D have CanCount capabilities? If it does, where might I find it in the software it came with? If not, man that sucks :cry:

No, it's only for the 1D series of Canon bodies. The only way to do it, is to send it to Canon.

Yeah was trying to find the cancount on my 5D for awhile. Remembered my 1D MKII could do it and thought this one could also. Good camera, but I guess not as perfect as a 1D series.

Mike is correct. Only Canon Service Centers or Canon CPS Tents at events, can read the actuation count on the XD, XXD, XXXD bodies.
