How do you create an avatar?

I'm dumbfounded by how you get a file small enough. I have tried many times and had no luck creating an 8kb file.

MORE info? I think you need less. Sounds like you are halfway there so try this: Use SAVE FOR WEB (AND DEVICES)* instead of SAVE AS.

That should do it.

Yes, it's a perk. Been here 2 1/2 years and learning more than I ever imagined. So, the larger avatar is a plus, and sometimes, when we are good, the title fairy gets us. :oops:
