I don't even see 200's listed in their fleet anymore. I swore they used them back when I worked there in 2001. Thanks for the link. :)

They are trying to get newer. I believe all of the MD-80s have been phased out of their fleet too, which I was very happy about. I hated flying on those planes.

Glad to know I wasn't losing my mind. :)

I too will be glad to see the MD-80's out of service... I remember boarding a few planes and looking at the info on the door jamb.. Some of the planes were older than I was. At the time I was working there I was 21. lol Never did get to ride in a 200. Oh well.

The approach in Anchorage gives you a long time to focus and shoot. Other than commercial there are a ton of 747's landing there (cargo).
