Hm, alright but might as well get one used and a whole lot more for the same price. Heck, that's almost half a 40D new so the comparison makes it meh.

tristatecamera.com has had them (Black) for $389 for a while.

Not everyone wants a bigger body or wants to pay that much more for a first DSLR.

BuyDig has had them for $390 for a while as well. And they don't have a pathetically dismal rating at ResellerRatings.
