Flash with multi shots.

How do you do this effectively? I basically set my camera to high speed multi shot then fired off 2-3 shots as my flash goes off. I've noticed the 2nd or 3rd shot is usually a little underexposed versus the first shot (which makes complete sense). What is the proper technique when using multi-shot with flash?

Exactly. The less power the flash has to deliver the faster it can cycle. How do you make it use less power? Use a larger aperture, use a higher ISO setting, get closer to the subject.

So technique wise it is essentially firing off multiple shots and multiple flashes. Currently my style is to shoot with a high ISO (usually 800-1600), wide-ish aperture (around f/4-5.6) and I usually stand about 3-4 feet away from the subject (not sure if that is considered close).
