Will the canon battery charger work overseas?

I am living in the US but am taking my charger overseas to India. I looked up the volts they use and they use 240V and 50Hz. The canon battery charger does give a input range (written on the back of the charger) from 100-240V and 50/60Hz.

So I just wanted to be sure if it would be okay, I always double check.

No worries. You'll be fine. Make sure you have an adapter for the prongs.

Yeap...all you'd need is a 'converter' so that the pins match up to the outlets there. That's what I did, and was glad I invested the 12 bucks for a converter.

You don't need a converter you need an adapter (as you correctly pointed out the charges is capable of 110/220 @ 50/60hz so it works pretty much anywhere). If you have US style Type A plug (NEMA 5-15) you need an Type C adapter (CEE 7/16) plug so that you can plug it into the Indian wall socket. And B&H sells its
