Errrrr, not OPTIONS...OPTICS...sigh....

Anyway, the site includes things such as rocket trails and other effects of atmospheric conditions of what we see in the sky and take pic of...

My better half found the site and emailed it to me. I have only glanced at the site but the explainations seem good and in terms even i can grasp... ;) I'm hampered my the inherently limited male brain but she forgives me my weakenesses and keeps things simple.

That's pretty neat. It's amazing how the exhaust particles create such colors.

Maybe someday I'll get lucky and see a rocket in the skies near my house someday. I just hope it is outbound, not incoming.;)

yeah, those toxic NO gases make some purdy colors for sure...just try not to be under the stuff when it settles... ;) Actually it's mostly safe I imagine there are always residual toxic components that did not get fried as the the fuel is expended.

Ummm, if they are inbound, consider my posts for that day as the last I will make...hehehehe...we are likely a primary target due to the launch capability of VAFB...actually I would prefer to be at a ground zero site, faster and we would not feel a thing. Gallows humor, my downfall...hehehehehe...

Glad ya found the site interesting.
