So I have been freelancing for Inside lacrosse Magazine over the last couple of months.

The last three weeks I finally was able to get to shoot several MLL (Major League Lacrosse) games.

One of my photos (not here) was chosen for the InFocus portion of the August issue which makes me very happy. Why because I actually get paid for the shot and it's my first publication photo.

Here are several from yesterdays game to check out.

Enjoy.

Ross

Sorry Ross,

I see nothing. I hope it's not just me, I'd hate to make you work if everyone can see pictures except me, but I get nothing. Have you posted pictures before?

Ok there is one of them so far. Now I just need to resize it and post them again.

So at least the one works now right?

Yes, it's there, and it's good. Just wish I could see his eyes.

Ok so they were all with the MK II.

I had different ISO's set because there was some clouds and sometimes it was sunny. So It varied between 400 and 800.

I stayed in Manual mode the whole time and my speeds varied from 1/1000 all they way up to 1/3200. Once again depending on if the clouds kept the sun from poking out and showing itself.

Whenever I shoot outdoors I try and stay at least +1 stop above middle so I can expose the faces correctly.

Ok Im off to LA in acouple of min so I will have to answer any more questions after I get there.

Ross - Nice work. (suggestion: next time number them to make it easier to discuss, and cut/past EXIF along with each shot).

2, 4, 7 and 8 are my favorites. On 4, you cut the bottom of his right foot (looks painful), which might have been unavoidable, but I would have cropped tighter at mid-calf.

I watched some of this game on Comcast last night as I was waiting for the Cubs to come on. I didn't even recognize Toyota Park with all those empty seats. Too bad. Didn't see you, either.

Where did they allow you to stand? Looks like you were mostly on the sideline, huh?
