Now it's there. Great action, but it looks like the sign in back is in focus instead of the rider. Post your EXIF if you're looking for C&C.

...and they misspelled "Memorial", to boot :(

Nice action shots, Hammer, but why not a lower aperture to blur the background a little more?

Most of the time at rodeo the riders like to see people in the background. Also sponsors with signs like to buy the photos if there is good action in front of their sign.

Both very nice shots. Interesting spelling on the sign for sure! If they were both just a hair lighter I think it would make them stand out a bit more.

I like that roper shot with the head-on perspective!

I just don't get the 'sport' relation to animal abuse.

I guess that makes me NOT a cowboy.

Don't you just love to see a horse with its b0ll0cks tied so tightly that it kicks and bucks so violently that anyone on its back eventually gets thrown off?

No, nor me.

Nothing against the quality of your photos but this kind of thing leaves me feeling a bit ill.

And just to save you some time, I've got terrible teeth.
