Thanks - that's the 70-200 @ 200 on the 5D

He was in 'attack' mode - apparently the bit of ground we were walking on was his. It was a spur of the moment shot - I was trying to get a Fairy Wren when my wife suggested that we were about to be attacked - and I spun around, saw him, aimed and 'fired'. Just a very lucky shot.

Banno the ABI group are a huge company and they can afford to pay a fair bit ;) We just had a pair of plovers nest in the vacant lot at work and they had 4 little chicks. Very cute little buggers and very funny watching people get swooped

I have to wait till the weekend to get my entry in because my leisure activity requires something I only get on weekends.

Thanks for the info on the plover. Hadn't seen or heard of them before. Another reason to dislike birds LOL

I came across this (external link)in my travels tonight - it's too freakin funny if you have some time to kill to look around (I highly recommend wandering all through the site, not just this link). It's hard to choose, but the fireman one (29 May) just made my day!

And I thought just having a Thomas The Tank Engine on a cake was over the top.

Here's a pano I did this afternoon just after our hail storm looking out over Port Kembla from Flagstaff Hill. Stitch of 8 images.

I also found out why it is hard to find a pot of gold... too much swimming involved.
