I got bored tonight, and had a go at shooting my gear. Unfortunately taking photos of your own camera means borrowing the wife's P&S. What's the only thing worse than onboard flash on the 400D? Onboard flash on an IXUS!

While using her IXUS I also found it amusing that she's barely clocked up 300 frames on it. I got my 400D the same day as she got hers, and I've got over 7,000 on mine.

The HTC Diamond is good so far.

Does anyone know how to download/cache the Google Maps maps?

Yup it has inbuilt SiRF Star III chip. I'm using iGo8, much better than Tomtom7/8.

Have just loaded Nokia maps onto wifey's N95 - just for a backup!

The current PC User did a review on the HTC - wasn't overly kind to it, only giving it a 65% rating. I must admit I generally found good reviews (up to just now) on it when I was looking around.

Much like the rest of us, we just get to pay more than we once did.

Walking past a local bank tonight, they were selling Autralian Dollar at 77c US OUCH
