2 days is pretty darned good! I usually get mine in three... it's quite satisfyingly fast. Did you get the air cushioned Lumopro stands?

they're the LP604s not sure if thats the aircusioned one or not? whats the diff? I'm assuming that its to take a bit of the shock if the clamps slip and the whole middle shaft comes sliding back down?

Hrm. I'm not sure what the model number of mine is. If you unscrew the clamps the shaft slowly slides down with a hiss - if you want it to go down in a hurry you have to grab it and force it into the column to expel the air quicker. I don't really miss it with the 001Bs.

i just got my first international photo order.
talk about fast shipping..took like 2 days.

For prints? That's pretty awesome. I wouldn't expect any better than that buying within Australia. I actually shied away from Smugmug/Zenfolio etc because I was worried about the shipping. Seems I needn't have been.

The last few of my Digital Works orders have arrived the next day... it's all rather convenient, really, this whole order-over-the-net thing :p

I've also used digital works before and they are really fast too..next day courier for me as well..not worth doing unless you have a batch though.

nods, I use the local printers for one or two but whenever I have a big landscape print to do for someone I've been throwing in a stack of 8x12s I know I'll need at the same time... the savings really add up with enough of the 8x12s and the savings on big prints are huge!

Nice. I've used snapfish and was happy enough with the result, but I don't remember exactly how long it took.

Worst result was from progalleries - I ordered two prints back on 12/06, haven't received them yet. Apparently I chose a fulfillment lab that they don't actually deal with any more, so the order went nowhere. I spoke to them yesterday and they've redirected the order to another lab, should have them in a day or so.

wish my other usa order went as well..

australia post contractors are lazy..so i believe my parcel's been 'insufficiently addressed' and returned to sender..in the us..via economy(sea)..which will take 7-8 weeks.

all because i didnt include my company name on it. the estate here is 431-481, it was addressed to me at 477 <street name> ..anything like that they dont bother and just return it to sender. so annoying.

Oh dear. That's seriously irritating... 7-8 weeks!?

Anyone getting orders from the US - keep plenty of wiggle room with your $1000 margin with the exchange rate going down, Customs calculate based on the day it arrives too, not what your bank charges. Otherwise you'll cop a 10% + $40 customs fee.

My margin just went down to $25, hoping the rate doesn't go down on the weekend before I get my stuff!

edit: make that $10.90 for US$785.
