Is the vignetting deliberate?
#2 found myself tilting my head and my neck went....'crack', scared me for a second.

All that cold white wet stuff...bbbrrrr.
Is the cold what made your 5D crook?
#3 I like it has a sense of lonely and lost about it.

Yeah, vignetting is part of what I do with my portraits and weddings. If I ever process any of these as serious landscapes, I'll take it off ;)

#2 was my attempt to capture the breadth of the scene -- at 16mm on full-frame. It needed tilt, unfortunately!

Not sure about the cold. I was having some issues with it in the warm too ... it's working fine now. Was losing connectivity with the lens and other weird stuff.

I'm not sure what's wrong with the new Facebook. It hides cruft I don't usually want to see and gives me prettier newsfeeds. What exactly is everyone's problem with it?

I'm with Luke on this one. I've been using the new facebook layout since it was available... and I think it's great that it hides the crap. I add very few applications, and it's good for hiding them and just showing what is important. I was beginning to feel that the old layout was getting somewhat cluttered (although this was helped by the 'show fewer profile boxes' thing at the bottom.

funny how when the Aussies lose to the Kiwis (which happens relatively often in Union... nothing else though :)) they resort to the same old jokes... :D *sigh* :D
